Highland Speedway – Scott Credit Union Armed Forces Night Presented by Casey’s General Store
HIGHLAND IL – ( May 17 2011) – Coming up this Saturday May 21 at the Highland Speedway it is the Scott Credit Union Armed Forces Night Presented by Casey’s General Store. All Military with a valid ID will receive FREE admission to the Speedway, also there will be special give a ways provided by your local Casey’s General Stores.
All six UMP Divisions will be in action after a week missed due to weather. Currently in the Becker Jewelers Super Late Models, Randy “King Kong “ Korte leads the points standing followed by Paul Bailey, and Mike Schulte, Dan Jacober and last year’s Champion Chad “The Highland Bulldog” Zobrist.
Leading the way in the Steve Schmitt Modifieds is Dean Hoffman driving the 1D, next is Jeremy Thole, “The Racing Realtor” Chad Sellers is sitting in third, Former Street Stock Champion Darrell Hewlett is fourth and Steve Lach is currently in the fifth position.
Multi Highland Speedway Class Champion Mark Oller leads the way in the UMP Pro Late Models, next is veteran Bobby Martintoni, Matt Santel, Daniel Heck, and Jordan Bauer round out the top five.
Rob Lee leads the UMP Sportsmen, Jeff Buss is currently on top in the Factory Stock Division and Trevor Isaak leads the way in the Sport Compacts.
Also added to the line up is the KIDZ Modz, specialty designed Modifieds for the younger drivers.
