HIGHLAND, IL (April 29, 2013) Hamel Coop Grain Co. is excited to present “70’s Night & Kids Dash 4 Cash” at Highland Speedway on Saturday, May 4, 2013. Mother Nature has tormented us for a couple of weeks now, and we are ready for this fun filled night of racing action will include a contest for the best 70’s attire, so break out your best 70’s look. This night also brings us the “Kids Dash For Cash Night” at Highland Speedway. This fun filled night of racing action includes the Kids Dash for Cash for Junior Fan Club Members ages 7 & 8 during intermission. Come dressed in your best 70’s outfits for your chance at prizes, fun for all ages, the Junior Fan Club Members can even get in on the 70’s action!!! Bring the family out for a fun night of racing action that features the UMP Late Models, UMP Steve Schmitt Modifieds, UMP B-Dry Solutions SportMods, Daum Insurance Micros, & UMP Hamel Coop Street Stocks. The Pick 3 Contest rolled over the last time we raced on Saturday, so come out and try your chance at the $200 jackpot brought to you by the Huddle House. The drawing for the Highland Speedway Pork Raffle has been postponed till May 4th due to rainouts. You can still get your raffle tickets for your chance to win one of the 2 halves of the hog that was donated by Brian Diesen and Scott Toenyes by contacting us at 618-654-6656 or by emailing us at highlandspeedway@hometel.com. Tickets will also be available for purchase on Saturday, May 4th. All proceeds go towards the 2013 Highland Speedway Points Fund. This is a great way to fill your freezer and support the great drivers that race at Highland Speedway. Pits Open at 3:00 pm, Grandstands Open at 5:30 pm, Pill Draw by 6:00 pm, Drivers Meeting at 6:15 pm, Hot Laps at 6:30 pm, and Racing starts at 7:00 pm. Box Seats are $15.00, General Grandstand Admission is $12.00, kids 10 and under are free with a paid adult admission. Pit Passes are $30.00 and pit passes for kids 10 and under are $15.00 (Kids in the pits must have parental supervision at all times.) The Huddle House is proud to present this seasons Pick 3 Contest, and the jackpot rolled over the last Saturday we raced with no winners. Don’t forget to get your Pick 3 ticket with your paid adult grandstand admission. Guess the winners of the 3 chosen Features at Highland Speedway during the night. Turn in your guess to the grandstand gate before the dashes start. If you pick the correct 3 winners, you have a chance to win part or the entire $200 jackpot. If there are more than one correct guesses, money will be split between all the correct guesses. If there are more than 20 correct winners, one winner will be chosen randomly for the entire jackpot.
