HIGHLAND, IL (May 22, 2013) Scott Credit Union & Koerner Distributing is excited to present Miller Lite Military Night at Highland Speedway on Saturday, May 25, 2013. Highland Speedway would like to thank our military members and invite them to attend the races Saturday night, with FREE General Grandstand Admission for all Active and Retired Military and Veterans, you must present your military identification card or American Legion, VFW, or VA card at the ticket booth for free general grandstand admission. We had a great weekend for racing last Saturday with 113 cars filling all the fields at Highland Speedway and putting on a awesome show. Scott Credit Union will be out supporting our local military members with the Scott Credit Union Hummer at the races. This weekend will also bring the second night of the Crate Double Down Series at Highland Speedway, come out and see who will make it to CC Food Mart Victory Lane in this raised purse crate race. Bring the family out for a fun night of racing action that features the UMP Late Models, UMP Steve Schmitt Modifieds, UMP Miller Lite Double Down Crates, UMP B-Dry Solutions SportMods, & UMP Hamel Coop Street Stocks. Don’t forget to take your chance at the Pick 3 Contest, come out and try your chance at the $100 jackpot brought to you by the Huddle House.
Pits Open at 3:00 pm, Grandstands Open at 5:30 pm, Pill Draw by 6:00 pm, Drivers Meeting at 6:15 pm, Hot Laps at 6:30 pm, and Racing starts at 7:00 pm. Box Seats are $15.00, General Grandstand Admission is $12.00, kids 10 and under are free with a paid adult admission. Pit Passes are $30.00 and pit passes for kids 10 and under are $15.00 (Kids in the pits must have parental supervision at all times.)
The Huddle House is proud to present this seasons Pick 3 Contest. There were 16 winners last week and they all took home part of the $300 jackpot, so it is time to start over. Don’t forget to get your Pick 3 ticket with your paid adult grandstand admission. Guess the winners of the 3 chosen Features at Highland Speedway during the night. Turn in your guess to the grandstand gate before the dashes start. If you pick the correct 3 winners, you have a chance to win part or the entire $100 jackpot. If there are more than one correct guesses, money will be split between all the correct guesses. If there are more than 10 correct winners, one winner will be chosen randomly for the entire jackpot. If no one guesses correctly, the money will roll over until a winner is correct. We switch up classes every week. Cards are being provided by Tribout Carnival Supply.

Zobrist & Harrison take home the Checkered Flags at Highland Speedway & Oberbeck Grain Co Rewarded the Hard Chargers!
HIGHLAND, IL (MAY 20, 2013) Awesome weather and lots of cars turned out at Highland Speedway on Saturday and the Hard Charger bonus money, provided by Oberbeck Grain Company, always makes for great night of racing. We have had great car counts so far this year and support from the drivers and teams, all of us at Highland Speedway would like to send out a huge thank you to all the teams, drivers, and workers that worked hard to help us get the entire program in on Saturday nights! We could not make it happen without all of your hard work, thank you! We had some great racing action with 113 cars that filled most of the fields and was enjoyed by all in attendance. There were 16 Pick 3 winners this week, so the jackpot starts over at $100 for this coming Saturday.
It was an awesome night with full field of 24 UMP Late Models racing at Highland Speedway. Daryn Klein took the checkered flag in the first heat of Late Models followed by Mike Schulte and Bobby Dauderman. Frankie Martin took the checkered flag in the second heat race race followed by John Beck and Kevin Cole. Roger Brickler took the checkered flag in the third heat race followed by Chad Zobrist and Rick Standridge. Rick Salters took the checkered flag in the Consi race followed by Chad Sellers and Richie Standridge. Frankie Martin won the dash followed by Chad Zobrist and John Beck. Chad Zobrist took home the checkered flag in the UMP Late Model Feature with Frankie Martin and Bobby Dauderman not far behind. Matt Taylor took home the Late Model Hard Charger bonus money by starting 20th and finishing 9th.
The UMP Steve Schmitt Modifieds had a great night of racing with a field of 19 cars racing at Highland Speedway. Robbie Eilers took the checkered flag in the first heat of Modifieds followed by Aaron Kleine and Brad Venhaus. Mike Harrison took the checkered flag in the second heat race race followed by Justin Ketrow and Brian Bielong. Jacob Steinkoenig took the checkered flag in the third heat race followed by Chris Smith and Brett Korves. Mike Harrison won the dash followed by Robbie Eilers and Aaron Kleine. Mike Harrison also took home the checkered flag in the UMP Steve Schmitt Modified Feature with Aaron Kleine and Robbie Eilers not far behind. Tyler Deibert took home the Modified Hard Charger bonus money by starting 10th and finishing 6th.
The Miller Lite Crates had a great night of racing with a field of 17 cars racing at Highland Speedway for the makeup Double Down Crates. Mark Oller took the checkered flag in the first heat of Crates followed by Dick Taylor and Jason Suhre. Chad Zobrist took the checkered flag in the second heat race followed by Matt Santel and Bobby Martintoni. Chad Zobrist took home the checkered flag in the Miller Lite Crate Feature with Mark Oller and Bobby Dauderman not far behind. Bobby Dauderman took home the Crate Hard Charger bonus money by starting 16th and finishing 3rd.
The UMP B-Dry Solutions SportMods had a great night of racing with a full field of 25 cars racing at Highland Speedway. Steve Stevenson took the checkered flag in the first heat of SportMods followed by Chris Smith and Lance Deiters. Rob Lee took the checkered flag in the second heat race race followed by Jeremy Thoele and Steven Ellison. Billy Knebel Jr. took the checkered flag in the third heat race followed by TJ Eilers and Shaun Horstmann. Jake Hewitt took the checkered flag in the Consi race followed by Justin Durbin and Jeff Yates. Billy Knebel Jr. took home the checkered flag in the UMP B-Dry Solutions SportMods Feature followed by Jeremy Thoele and Steve Ellison. Jake Hewitt took home the SportMod Hard Charger bonus money by starting 15th and finished 6th.
The UMP Hamel Coop Street Stocks had a great night of racing with a full field of 22 cars racing at Highland Speedway. Cale Hartnagel took the checkered flag in the first heat of Street Stocks followed by Dale Bohnenstiehl and Ryan Emig. Steve Steele took the checkered flag in the second heat race race followed by Jacob Tompkins and Trevor Isaak. Wade Glover took the checkered flag in the third heat race followed by Tony Walker and Adam Koch. Cale Hartnagel took home the checkered flag in the UMP Hamel Coop Street Stock Feature with Wade Glover and Tony Walker not far behind. Jacob Rexing took home the Street Stock Hard Charger bonus money by starting 18th and finishing 8th.
The UMP Sammie’s KidzMods showed a great improvement in their second night of racing action for the season with a field of 6 cars. Zane Ulmer took the checkered flag in the KidzMods heat race followed by Tyler Kuhn and Cade Juenger. The UMP Sammie’s KidzMods feature ran during intermission and Zane Ulmer took the lead early and managed to keep it, Zane took home the checkered flag followed by Tyler Kuhn and Ryan Hamilton.

Chad Zobrist & Mike Harrison Win after a long battle with Mother Nature to Race on Saturday Nights at Highland Speedway
HIGHLAND, IL (MAY 13, 2013) Awesome weather and lots of cars turned out at Highland Speedway on Saturday and gave us a great Mother’s Day Weekend treat. There was some great racing action with full fields in every class that was enjoyed by all in attendance. The Highland Speedway Junior Fan Club members had a great time during intermission with the Kids Dash for Cash for Ages 7 & 8. A huge thank you to Martintoni Racing, Bill Marquart, and the Donation in Memory of Rick Zobrist for donating the cash for the Kids Dash for Cash, the kids had a great time! There were no Pick 3 winners this week, so the jackpot rolls over to $300 for this coming Saturday.

Mike Harrison also took home the checkered flag in the UMP Steve Schmitt Modified Feature with Chris Smith and Brian Bielong not far behind.

Jeremy Thoele took the checkered flag in the first heat of SportMods followed by Rob Lee and Jake Hewitt. Steven Ellison took the checkered flag in the second heat race race followed by Chris Smith and TJ Eilers. Steve Stevenson took the checkered flag in the third heat race followed by Curt Loddeke and Billy Knebel Jr. After numerous cautions in the SportMods feature time expired and Steve Ellison took home the checkered flag under caution in the UMP B-Dry Solutions SportMods Feature followed by TJ Eilers and Shaun Horstmann.
The Daum Insurance Outlaw Micros had a great night of racing with a full field of 28 cars racing at Highland Speedway. Nic Harris took the checkered flag in the first heat of Micros followed by Joey Wirth and Dylan Benscoter. Jeremy Camp took the checkered flag in the second heat race followed by Aaron Andrastovitch and Carlee Gress. Jacob Patton took the checkered flag in the third heat race followed by Ryan Mueller and Kevin Horcher. Jake Neumann took the checkered flag in the fourth heat race followed by Tim England and Mark Gass. Jason Harms took the checkered flag in the Consi race followed by Tyler Vantoll and Kurt Westerfield. Jeremy Camp took home the checkered flag in the Daum Insurance Outlaw Micros Feature with Nic Harris and Jacob Patton not far behind.

Wade Glover took the checkered flag in the first heat of Street Stocks followed by Tony Walker and Trevor Isaak. Dan Pilkington took the checkered flag in the second heat race race followed by Jacob Tompkins and Stephen Fohne. Brian Crawford took the checkered flag in the third heat race followed by Adam Koch and Austin Isaak. Cody Ventimiglia took the checkered flag in the Consi race followed by Lacey Egbert and Brent Weaver. Wade Glover took home the checkered flag in the UMP Hamel Coop Street Stock Feature with Dan Pilkington and Tony Walker not far behind.
The UMP Sammie’s KidzMods had a great night for their first night of racing action for the season with a field of 6 cars. Zane Ulmer took the checkered flag in the KidzMods heat race followed by Ryan Hamilton, Blake Bailey, Cade Juenger, Tyler Kuhn, and Brad Knepper. The UMP Sammie’s KidzMods feature ran during intermission and Zane Ulmer took the lead early and managed to keep it, Zane took home his first checkered flag of the 2013 season followed by Tyler Kuhn, Ryan Hamilton, Brad Knepper, Cade Juenger, and Blake Bailey.
Saturday, May 18th brings Oberbeck Grain Company Hard Charger Night to Highland Speedway. Oberbeck Grain Company is providing bonus moneys to the Hard Charger in every class, be sure to come out and see who takes home the bonus money. Chad Zobrist Sweeps the UMP Late Models and UMP Miller Lite Crates, Ketrow wins the UMP Steve Schmitt Modifieds on Saturday Night

The Highland Speedway Junior Fan Club members had a great time during intermission with the Kids Dash for Cash for Ages 5 & 6. It was an awesome night with full field of 26 UMP Late Models racing at Highland Speedway. Rick Salter took the checkered flag in the first heat of Late Models followed by Steve Thorston and Rodney Standerfer. Chad Zobrist took the checkered flag in the second heat race race followed by Ed Pursell and Michael Kloos. Bobby Dauderman took the checkered flag in the third heat race followed by Mike Schulte and Rick Standridge. Dan Jacober took the checkered flag in the fourth heat race followed by Mike Hammerle and John Beck. Randy Meyers took the checkered flag in the consi followed by Brant Kehrer and Tim Hancock, Sr. Chad Zobrist won the dash followed by Mike Hammerle and Bobby Dauderman. Unfortunately Dan Jacober did not make it on the track within the allotted amount of time, however Travis Horner was ready and waiting in the wings to start the feature. Chad Zobrist took home the checkered flag in the UMP Late Model Feature with Rick Salter and Michael Kloos not far behind.

Justin Ketrow took the checkered flag in the second heat race race followed by Brock Bauman and Guy Taylor. Justin Ketrow won the dash followed by Brett Cygan and Eric Goetter. Justin Ketrow also took home the checkered flag in the UMP Steve Schmitt Modified Feature with Brett Cygan and Jordan Bauer not far behind.

Charlie Heck took the checkered flag in the first heat of Crates followed by Jordan Suhre and Bobby Dauderman. Aaron Heck took the checkered flag in the second heat race race followed by Dick Taylor and Kyle McMahon. Chad Zobrist took the checkered flag in the third heat race followed by Bobby Martintoni and Tory Ernst. Chad Zobrist took home the checkered flag in the UMP Miller Lite Crate Feature with Bobby Martintoni and Bobby Dauderman not far behind. It was a great night of racing action for the first Crate race of the season at Highland Speedway.

Curt Loddeke took the checkered flag in the first heat of SportMods followed by Rob Lee and Billy Knebel, Jr. Jerry Thompson took the checkered flag in the second heat race race followed by Jeremy Thoele and Shaun Horstmann. Chris Smith took the checkered flag in the third heat race followed by Jake Hewitt and Steve Stevenson. Jeremy Thoele took home the checkered flag in the UMP B-Dry Solutions SportMods Feature with Rob Lee and Jake Hewitt not far behind.
The UMP Hamel Coop Street Stocks had a great night of racing with a field of 16 cars racing at Highland Speedway. Cale Hartnagel took the checkered flag in the first heat of Street Stocks followed by Adam Koch and Tony Walker. Jason Worley took the checkered flag in the second heat race race followed by Jacob Tompkins and Austin Isaak. Cale Hartnagel started out leading the feature with Jason Worley and Adam Kock not far behind. After a caution in the 4th lap Jason Worley was able to take the lead from Hartnagel with Adam Kock and Jacob Tompkins falling in behind Hartnagel. Hartnagel got turned around in the last lap on the back straight away. Jason Worley took home the checkered flag in the UMP Hamel Coop Street Stock Feature with Jacob Tompkins and Adam Koch not far behind.
Saturday, April 20th brings the “70’s Night” to Highland Speedway, be sure to dress up in your best 70’s attire for a fun filled night. Pick 3 rolled over!!
There was no winner for the Pick 3 on April 13th. Next time we race, the Pick 3 will be worth $200. Thanks to the Huddle House for sponsoring the Pick 3 and Tribout Carnival Supply for printing the Pick 3 cards.
Everyone over 18 who purchases a grandstand admission ticket will receive a card with a chance to win the $200. Good Luck!!!
