The Highland Speedway would like to announce that Rick Frey will be the new promoter for the 2015 season. He will be joined by Race Committee Chairman Gene Cox, Director of Competition Scott Kuhn and Track Manager Susan Zobrist. The Tech Committee is Travis Tebbe, Tyler Deibert, Ron Hartnagel, Kerry Gaultney and Marty Smith, Sr. We at the Highland Speedway are looking forward to a great year of racing under the new management.
The Speedway is gearing up for the 54th season. The schedule is being worked on with one date confirmed – July 4th will bring the Summer Nationals to Highland. Mark your calendars for this great racing event. Our regular classes will be Late Models, Modifieds, SportMods, Street Stocks, and Micros.
Many of our racers already know Rick Frey. He has been in the pits greeting them when they enter. He looks forward to meeting everyone during the 2015 season. Rick has been busy setting up events that everyone will enjoy during the 2015 season.

2014 Highland Speedway Banquet
If one of the top 10 drivers cannot make the Banquet, please call Sue Zobrist at 618-644-5441. You must let her know who will pick up your trophy.
The Lester Robinson Memorial is rained out for Friday. Hot laps will be at 4:30 on Saturday. Pits will open at 3:00 pm. Grandstand will open at 3:30 pm
On Sunday, pits will open at 11:00 and hot laps at 1:00 pm. Grandstand will open at 12 noon.
First Annual B-Mod Fall Nationals

On October 3rd and 4th, Highland Speedway plays host to the First Annual Lester Robertson B-Mod Fall Nationals presented by Stellar Gaming. This event is named for long time sportsman driver and car owner Ronnie Robertson’s late son.
Drivers from across the Midwest will have a chance of winning the $2,000 first place payout. The two day event will feature group qualifying, heat races, and a dash on Friday, Oct. 3rd. Saturday, Oct. 4th will see the last chance races and the main event – a 60 lap Feature.
The event will also include Street Stocks racing for $500 and Pro 4’s (Hornets) racing for $300. These classes will pill draw for starting positions and run heats and dashes on Friday. Features will be run on Saturday. All classes will follow Highland Speedway 2014 rules. (Hornets will use 2012 rules.)
Grandstand will open at 5:30 pm on Friday and 6:00 pm on Saturday. Grandstand admission is $8 per night and kids 12 and under are free. NO COOLERS PERMITTED IN THE GRANDSTAND. Concessions, soda and beer will be available.
Pits will open at 4:00 pm on Friday and 3:00 on Saturday. Pit passes for two days are $50. Single day pit passes are $30.
There will be free camping in the pits and an after race party will be held in the pits on Friday with live entertainment.
B-Mod entry fee is $50 in advance and $75 the day of the event. Pre entries should be mailed to:

Box Seats $15.00; General Grandstand Admission is $12.00, kids 10 and under are free general grandstand admission with a paid adult admission. Pit Passes are $30.00 and pit passes for kids 10 and under are $15.00 (Kids in the pits must have parental supervision at all times.)
