HIGHLAND, IL (March 6, 2013) The Highland Speedway is proud to announce that we are teaming up with Hamel Coop Grain Co. based in Hamel, IL. They will be the primary sponsor of the Highland Speedway UMP Street Stock Class for the 2013 racing season. They are also sponsoring several key events during the 2013 racing season.

The first opportunity for racers to experience the UMP Hamel Coop Street Stocks will be Saturday, March 16th at the Lucky 40. The Lucky 40 is part of a two day event that has Highland Speedway partnering with the Belle Clair Speedway to kickoff the 2013 racing season. Hamel Coop is also sponsoring the first night of the Crates Double Down on Saturday, April 27^th. Highland Speedway is partnering with TriCity Speedway to bring the Crates Double Down, a $700 to Win two night crate race series to the area once a month.

This special night of racing will have a 34 Lap, $1500 to Win Late Model feature, a 30 Lap, $750 to Win Modified feature, SportMods, and Street Stock racing action on Saturday, March 23^rd.

The first opportunity for racers and fans alike to experience the UMP Miller Lite Crates at Highland Speedway will be Saturday, April 13^th. This is the first night of crate racing action at Highland Speedway for the 2013 racing season. Play Day Saturday, March 9th & Play Night Tuesday, March 12th!

Come out and join us for Play Day at Highland Speedway on Saturday, March 9, 2013 (weather permitting)!!!! All classes welcome! UMP Memberships, Race Receivers, and all track paperwork will be available. Pits Open at Noon, Play Day starts at 1:00pm. Pit Passes are $15.00, Grandstands open at 1:00pm and admission is free. Limited concessions will be available at the Pit Shack.

Come out and join us for Play Night at Highland Speedway on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 5pm – 8pm (weather permitting)!! All classes welcome! Pits Open at 5:00pm. Pit Passes are $15.00 Grandstands Open at 5:30pm and are FREE!!!
