HIGHLAND, IL (June 30, 2014) Highland Speedway is proud to present the DirtCar Racing UMP Summer Nationals Hell Tour on Saturday, July 5, 2014. This exciting night of racing action at Highland Speedway will feature $10,000 to win UMP Late Models, $1000 to win UMP Summit Modifieds, and $300 to win UMP Hamel Coop Street Stocks. The UMP Summer Nationals always brings out some of the best drivers in the Midwest and is always an awesome show! This is the largest paying race that Highland Speedway holds each year and we are proud to bring it to our fans and to Highland Speedway. Come out and see who will take home the checker flag and end up in the CC Food Mart Victory. The grandstands will be opening at 3:00 pm and we will be hosting a driver autograph session in the lower grandstand area for all the kids from 4:00 – 5:00 pm. It will be a great chance for the kids to meet their favorite drivers.
Pits Open at 2:00 pm, Grandstands Open at 3:00 pm, Pill Draw by 5:00 pm, Drivers Meeting at 5:15 pm, Hot Laps at 5:30 pm, Qualifying at 5:45 pm Racing Starts at 7:00 pm. Box Seats are $30.00, General Grandstand Admission is $28.00, kids 10 and under are free general grandstand admission with a paid adult admission. Pit Passes are $35.00 and pit passes for kids 10 and under are $20.00 (Kids in the pits must have parental supervision at all times.) The Highland Speedway UMP Late Models and UMP Steve Schmitt Modifieds will get Highland Speedway show up points for this event. The UMP Hamel Coop Street Stocks will get full Highland Speedway points for racing at this event.
Be sure to join us the following weekend Saturday, July 12, 2014 for Oberbeck’s Grain Christmas in July at Highland Speedway! It will be a fun filled night for the whole family featuring the UMP Late Models, UMP Steve Schmitt Modifieds, UMP B-Dry SportMods, UMP Hamel Coop Street Stocks, and the Daum Insurance Outlaw Micros. Oberbeck Grain Company has added $100 to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for the Daum Insurance Outlaw Micros on this Christmas in July night. This action packed night will be $12 Grandstand Admission for General Admission and Box Seats will be $15. Kids 10 and under General Grandstand Admission are free with a paid adult admission.
