There were 24 UMP Late Models who came to race at the Highland Speedway on Saturday, June 13th. However, the night belonged to Mark Faust. Mark took the fist heat win over Michael Kloos, Paul Bailey, and Dan Jacober. The second heat went to Chad Zobrist followed by John Beck, Frankie Martin, and Matt Santel. Third heat winner was Dick Taylor (who was celebrating his birthday) then Steve Leach, Jason Zobrist, and Dave Thornton. Chasing Faust in the dash was Zobrist, Taylor, and Kloos. For the third week in a row, Mark Faust took the checkered flag in the Feature. Order of finish then was Bailey, Kloos, Martin, Taylor, Beck, Brent Helmkamp, Jason Zobrist, Marty Smith, Jr, Steven Unterbrink, Dan Jacober, Kerry Gaultney, Dave Thornton, Michael Jacober, Mike Schulte, John Prior, Tom Krankel, Randy Bingham, John Cory, Santel, Zobrist, Leach, Lenny Garson, and Danny Ripperda DNS.

The Steve Schmitt Modified division had 22 cars. First heat win went to Chris Smith then Dean Hoffman, Mike Harrison, and Chad Sellers. Second heat went to Aaron Kleine followed by Jim Werner, Jr, Robbie Eilers, and Eric Goetter. Third heat saw Eric Faust take the win over Craig Kern, Jesse Wisely, and Ron Hartnagel. It was Jim Werrner, Jr who took the lead in the dash. He was chased by Chirs Smith, Eric Faust, and Aaron Kleine. Crossing the finish line first in the Feature was Mike Harrison. Order of finish then was Chris Smith, Hoffman, Werner, Jr, Chad Sellers, Eilers, Faust, Wisely, Kern, Hartnagel, Roger Fohne, Tyler Deibert, Goetter, Steve Ellison, Andy Oswald,  Steve Lach, Cody Stilwell, Paul becker, Aaron Kleine, Aaron Muller, Parker Williams, Jr and Travis Koechler.

The UMP Sportsman division had the lowest car count of the evening with 20 cars. However, this time the night belonged to Ryan Eilers. He was the Eilers brother who brought the broom with him to the race track. It was Justin Durbin who took the win in the first heat. He was chased by Brandon Hogenson, Steve Stevenson, and Jim Lafferty. Ryan took his first win in the second heat over Mark Bohnenstiehl, Rick Johnson, and Bryan Slover. Third heat went to Rob Lee then Greg Spencer, Jimmy Cummins, and Russell Eilers. Chasing Ryan Eilers in the dash was Hogenson, Bohnenstiehl, and Lee. Taking the checkered flag for the first time this year was Ryan Eilers. Order of finish then was Bohnenstiehl, Russell Eilers, Durbin, Cummins, Hogenson, Rick Johnson, Stevenson, Jim Lafferty, Jimmy Miller, Slover, Aaron Melton, Tory Ernst, Greg Spencer, Danny Beard, John Cooper, Dan Ricklefs, Jr, Lee, Josh Case and Jon Huegen.

The Street Stock division had the highest car count with 27. It was Terry McCann who took the first checkered flag in the first heat over Buddy Love, Nathan Rakers, and Michael Ripperda, Jr. Second heat went to Larry Smith, Jr then TJ Eilers, Brad Venhaus, and Jordan Bauer. Third heat had Stephen Fohne lead Billy Kruep, John Cory, and Matt Meier. The order of finish for the consi was AJ Cline, Jeff Buss, Fred Sparks, Rich Breakfield, Mrcus Kruep, Matt Koch, Brian Crawford, Dave Kuehn, Justin Leichsenring, Joe Meier, James Rhoades, Jr, and Keith Flannery DNS. Taking his second checkered flag of the evening and the second time this season in the Feature was Terry McCann. He was chased by Stephen Fohne, TJ Eilers, Billy Kruep, Venhaus, Ripperda, Jr, Bauer, Love, Stephen Flannery, Jr, Jake Hewitt, Jeff Buss, Sparks, Cline, Marcus Kruep, Rakers, Matt Meier, Breakfield, Jason Nash. John Cory, and Larry Smith, Jr.

The UMP Factory Stock division had 26 cars. It was Jason Suhre who took the first heat over Eddie Sterns, Willy Myers, and Justin Suhre. Second heat had Bob Zbinden lead over  Dale Bohnenstiehl, Dan Dodson, and Tracy VonRohr. Third heat saw Matt Hamblin beat out Charlie Durbin, Justin Shaw, and Travis Horner. Consi order of finish was Austin Isaak, On Easley, Sean Denison, Jon Ripperda, Jeremy Izard, Justin Hall, Nick Knebel, Randy Horner, Rick Vivanio, Lacey Egbert, and Ryan Emig. For the sixth time this season, it was Bob Zbinden who crossed the finish line first in the Feature. He was followed by Hamblin, Jason Suhre, Sterns, Durbin, Justin Suhre, Bohnenstiehl, VonRohr, Austin Isaak, Myers, Travis Horner, Trevor Isaak, Dodson, Jordan Suhre, Denison, Shaw, Easley, Jeremy Izard, Pete Cory, and Jon Ripperda.

Next Saturday, the POWRI Micros and Midgets roll into town. This will be a special show with the sprint cars. Also running on the 20th will be the Pro Late Models and the Street Stocks. This will be a point night for the Street Stocks. The following Saturday night, June 27th, will be the mid season championships sponsored by the Madison County Fair Assn.
