Passing Points

Highland Speedway will be using passing points this season in all classes. Please see below for an explanation of passing points. Passing Points will be used to determine A-Main and B-Main(if necessary) lineups at the Highland Speedway. Below is the passing point system that will be used. Standard pill draw will be used to determine heat race lineups. Passing points are determined from the original heat race lineups posted. Passing points are NOT awarded (only Finish Position Points are awarded) to any driver who voluntarily elects to start on the tail of their heat instead of their original drawn starting position. Season opener on Saturday, April 3

Grandstand gates open at 5:30. Adults general admission $15. Box seats $20 per seat – no free child seat Kids 12 & under free when accompanied by an adult in grandstands. JR Fan Club sign up is behind ticket booth from 5:30 till intermission. Pits open at 3:00. Pit passes are $30. Minors allowed in pits after both parents/guardians sign minor release form. Minors 12 & under are $15 if minor form is filled out by both parents/guardians Hot laps at 6:30. Racing starts at 6:45.

New partnership announced for 2021

Hooker Harness and Highland Speedway have made a partnership agreement for the fast approaching 2021 racing season. Opening Night for Highland Speedway is scheduled for this coming Saturday, April 3. The 2021 season will be a milestone year for both parties with Hooker Harness celebrating its 50th year in business and Highland Speedway celebrating its 60th year in racing. As part of the agreement Hooker Harness will be awarding a $50 Product Certificate to the Hard Charger for each Late Model feature. Bi-State Battle Late Model Series kicks off inaugural season in 2021!

St. Louis, MO (March 18, 2021) Highland Speedway & Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 have teamed together and formed the Bi-State Battle Late Model Series. The Series will feature twenty-two races between the two tracks in 2021 and kicks off on April 3rd at Highland Speedway. The Bi-State Battle Late Model Series will utilize the DIRTcar UMP Super Late Model rules and be fully sanctioned by DIRTcar UMP. All drivers competing in the Bi-State Battle Late Models Series will automatically become members of the Bi-State Battle Late Model Series. There will not be any membership fee.
