The MARS Racing Series lived up to expectations and for the third time in a row they put on an excellent show at World Famous Highland Speedway.

Thirty-six Super Late Models rolled into Highland to vie for the $5,000 top prize and a huge summer-like crowd enjoyed everything they had to offer. Here’s the results from Saturday night’s MARS Racing Series action.

1. #25 the “Highside Hustler” Jason Feger of Bloomington, IL won another big race at Highland!
2. #25W Allen Weisser of Peoria, IL
3. #74M Mitch McGrath of Waukesha, Wisconsin

MARS Racing Series $2,000 to win Modifieds
1. #18L Michael Long of Fowler, IL is now 3 for 3 in big races at Highland!
2. #96 Mike McKinney of Plainfield, IL
3. 1D Dean Hoffmann of Troy, IL

Advantage Nursing Micro Sprint Division
1. #65E Chad Elliott of Cottage Hills, IL , the defending Track Champion picks up another win!
2. #53 Sean Robbins of Collinsville, IL
3. #21M Matt Morton of Collinsville, IL

Unfortunately, the ProModified Division Feature was cut from the schedule, and they will run a double Feature during the June 8th racing program.

The Super Late Models are back again this Saturday, May 25th! Points Night feat. DIRTcar Super Late Models, Modifieds, ProModifieds & Factory Stocks plus Warriors. Pits open at 3PM and Grandstands at 5PM.

$15 gets you in the door, $20 box seats, Kids 12 and under are free in the grandstands with a paid adult and students 13-18 are just $5. There’s a bounce house for the kids and the Highland Speedway Junior Fan Club always has some fun ways to interact with the drivers.
