The next member of the St Louis Dirt Track Racing Hall of Fame Inaugural Class of Inductees is Chris Bargetzi. We are including a write up provided by his
daughter Vicki Bargetzi Ripperda. Please take the time to read it.Chris Bargetzi started racing in 1962 after sitting in the stands as a spectator for a while and thought that looked easy so he decided to put one together. His frames were homemade til he moved to late models. His last race was in 1992 at Macon Speedway season opener, then he became a car owner. He is best known in the yellow car with the red 441.
