The Joshua Melton Memorial brought out a huge crowd in honor of a young man taken far too soon and 109 cars rolled in on a beautiful Saturday night at World Famous Highland Speedway.

Thirty-one Street Stocks raced for a track record $1,722 top prize in an exciting 22-lap Feature along with four other classes of racing as Highland Speedway continues its best season in the 62-year history of the track.

1. #5 Owen Steinkoenig of Highland with his 4th Feature win of 2023 at Highland.
2. #0 Tim Hancock, Sr. of Mount Olive with his best finish of 2023 at Highland.
3. #63E Bret Eilerman of Highland

BEL-O Cooling, Heating, & Plumbing Inc ProModified Division
1. #25X Kyle Helmick of Smithton
2. #01 Brett Cygan of St. Jacob

Advantage Nursing Micro Sprint Division
1. #65E Chad Elliott of Cottage Hills with his 3rd Feature win of 2023 at Highland.

Warrior Division
1. #15 Mike Blumenstein of Breese with his first Feature win of his career!

There are two exciting events coming up on Wednesday, July 26th at Highland Speedway. At 2:30 PM Fox 2 St. Louis will be hosting a video shoot at the track. This community event is free and open to the public. The video will be used for a segment on the news and for Highland Speedway commercials running through the end of the season.

Later that day, World Famous Highland Speedway will host the return of the Challenge of Champions race at the Madison County Fair. $5,000 to win Late Models, $1,500 to win Modifieds and $500 to win ProModifieds plus a custom $800 race suit! Grandstand tickets are $15, box seats $20, 12 and under are free and students 13-18 are $5. Pits open at 3 PM and Grandstands at 5:30.
