World Famous Highland Speedway is excited to announce our new Director of Competition, Chance Bailey! Chance is on the right in the picture with our Track President Shaun Horstmann.
Originally from the
Washington, MO area, Chance lives in Quincy, IL with his fiancée Audrey and 2-year-old daughter Josie. They are expecting another little girl in February.Chance raced for several years in multiple classes and in 2023 was the Assistant Director of Competition at Adams County Speedway (IL).
Outside of racing, Chance works at a hospital in the inpatient adult and child psychiatric department.
When asked what excites him about Highland Speedway, Chance said “the fairgrounds setting and atmosphere there is hard to find in racing and to be able to be in front of that every Saturday night is a chance I just couldn’t pass up. Every night I’ve been to the races in Highland I’ve left with a smile from ear to ear!”
